Shinsei

Shinsei are magical elemental creatures that live among humans in the game world. They are also NFT’s that are the basis of the Sacred Tails world. Players can buy, trade, battle and breed their Shinsei. It is through their Shinsei that players experience the majority of the game’s content.

All Shinsei have a primary element, this determines their base stats. Additionally, Shinsei are made of discrete body parts, each of which has an element and a rarity. Every Shinsei has a unique genetic makeup through their combination of parts, elements and rarities, which determine their bonuses, skills, resistances and value.

A Shinsei’s body is made up of 5 distinct parts, which grant boosts to specific stats depending on their element and rarity. These parts are:

  • Head

  • Ears

  • Accessory

  • Body

  • Tail

Each Shinsei is a randomly created NFT whose stats are derived solely from its body components.

Each Shinsei’s skills/powers are set according to their stats:

  • Body -> STAMINA

  • Accessories -> DEFENCE

  • Head -> SPEED

  • Ears -> ATTACK

  • Tail -> STRENGTH

Each Body Part Rarity increases the stats by a certain multiplier:

For example; if the base stats are 100 (The results are just to show how it reflects, this is by no means true to the in-game balancing)

A Shinsei's element reflects its Strengths and Weaknesses into the Stats. There will be two boosted stats, a primary and a secondary, and one reduced stat.

The body part "Body" defines the elemental type of the Shinsei, this element decides the boosted and reduced stats. The Shinsei can still have body parts of other elemental types but these wont reflect into the stat boosting/reducing. These will still alter the appearance of your Shinsei, making it a one of a kind!

For example; If the element of the Shinsei is Dark; and all the base stats are 100 we will have the following result (The results are just to show how it reflects, this is by no means true to the in-game balancing)

Lets put this into the field and take a look at how this all correlates to the individual stats of a Shinsei. (The results are just to show how it reflects, this is by no means true to the in-game balancing)

As you can see in the example the rarities of the Shinsei not only increase their rarity, but also increase their fighting potentials in game.

(The in-game balancing is by far more complex and has more variables to take in account then shown. This is a common explenation that is easy to understand.)
